    1. “Hi! How are you?” – ஹாய்! எப்படி இருக்கீங்க? (Hāi! Eppaṭi irukkīṅga?)

    • Casual: “எப்படி இருக்கே?” (Eppaṭi irukkē?) – for friends
    • Reply: “நல்லா இருக்கேன்” (Nallā irukkēn) – I’m good
    • Pro tip: Tamils often greet by asking “சாப்பிட்டியா?” (Sāppiṭṭiyā?) – Have you eaten?

    2. “What’s your name?” – உன் பேரு என்ன? (Uṉ pēru eṉṉa?)

    • Polite version: “உங்கள் பெயர் என்ன?” (Uṅkaḷ peyar eṉṉa?)
    • Reply: “என் பேரு [Your Name]” (Eṉ pēru ___)
